Prabowo Subianto has directed state-owned railway operator PT KAI to add more carriages to its Commuter Line (KRL) service.
"KAI will conduct a joint investigation with KNKT to find out the reason behind the train collision," said KAI's Vice President of Public Relations, Joni Martinus.
Then, in December 2022 or early 2023, commercial operations of Jabodebek LRT will start."
Jabodebek LRT is expected to start carrying passengers in August 2022, and it will be entirely automated by the end of the year.
