TheIndonesia.co - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) has questioned the absence of asset declarations (LHKPN) belonging to President Prabowo Subianto and 38 other senior officials from the public disclosure system.
More than a month after the reporting deadline for the 2025 period on 31 March 2026, the documents have yet to appear on the official LHKPN website, raising concerns about transparency and compliance.
ICW said the lack of publicly available data points to two possible scenarios. First, the president and several cabinet members may not have submitted their asset declarations. Second, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which manages the reporting system, may not have published reports that were already filed.
The group highlighted that as of 31 March 2026, Prabowo and a number of cabinet members were still listed on a “Belum Lapor” (not yet reported) page, which tracks state officials who have not submitted their LHKPN.
However, by 1 April 2026, their names had been removed from the list. Despite this change, ICW noted that copies of their asset declarations were still unavailable on the official e-announcement platform as of both 1 April and 4 May 2026.
ICW visited the KPK’s headquarters in South Jakarta to seek clarification on the issue, stressing the importance of timely and transparent disclosure of officials’ wealth reports as part of public accountability.
In response, KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said that only reports that have been verified and declared complete are published. He added that the verification process can take up to 60 working days after the submission deadline.
Despite the explanation, ICW maintains that the absence of the reports from public access remains a concern, particularly given the significance of asset transparency for high-ranking state officials.
