TheIndonesia.co - A delegation from the Badung Regency Government in Bali took part in a group prayer ceremony as an offering of devotion (Bhakti Penganyar) at Pura Ulun Danu Batur, Kintamani, Bangli Regency, on Tuesday.
According to Antara News Agency, the group was led by Badung Deputy Regent Bagus Alit Sucipta, accompanied by his wife Yunita Alit Sucipta, Chairwoman of the Badung PKK Movement Team, Mrs. Rasniathi Adi Arnawa, regional government heads, and civil servants.
Deputy Regent Sucipta expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all involved in the successful preparation and execution of the Ngusaba Kedasa ceremony at the temple.
“We hope that through the sacred Ngusaba Kedasa ceremony at Pura Ulun Danu Batur, all of nature may receive blessings from the Divine,” he said.
As part of the ceremony, Mrs. Rasniathi Adi Arnawa and Mrs. Yunita Alit Sucipta also performed traditional Balinese offerings in the form of the Rejang Giri Putri and Rejang Renteng dances, symbolizing devotion and gratitude.
To further support the religious event, the Badung Government also donated Rp25 million as a contribution (dana punia) to the temple.
Additionally, in support of the community, Badung Regency has launched a free shuttle bus program to help residents attend Karya Ngusaba Kedasa at Ulun Danu Batur and the Ida Bhatara Turun Kabeh (IBTK) ceremony at Pura Agung Besakih.
This program, initiated by the Regent and Deputy Regent, ensures that each customary village (desa adat) in Badung will receive three buses to transport worshippers to the temples during the ongoing religious festivities.
