Temanggung Sepekan 2025 to Spotlight Culture and Creative Economy

TheIndonesia.co - Head of the Temanggung Culture and Tourism Office, Tri Raharjo, expressed optimism about the potential of Temanggung Sepekan 2025 to elevate the region’s cultural and tourism profile.

“This festival will serve as a key catalyst in boosting Temanggung’s national image. Collaboration from all stakeholders is crucial to unlock the region’s cultural and tourism potential,” said Tri in a written statement from Jakarta on Wednesday, according to Antara News Agency.

The Temanggung Regency Government praised the initiative of promoters PT Satsenu Sinergi Indonesia (Satsenu) and PT Angan Kreasi Semesta (Angkasa) in organizing the event.

Open to the public and timed with the school holiday season, the festival offers a family-friendly holiday destination packed with education and memorable experiences.

Aryo Wibisono of PT Angkasa noted that the event is expected to accelerate not only tourism growth but also create a significant economic ripple effect across various sectors in Temanggung.

“We hope this festival will boost Temanggung’s national and international recognition,” he said.

Temanggung Sepekan 2025 will feature five key programs:

• Sepekan Musik: A diverse music lineup including Kunto Aji, Ngatmombilung, Aftershine, Idgitaf, Raim Laode, and more.
• Sepekan Budaya: A celebration of traditional arts, cultural performances, children’s competitions, film screenings, and cultural forums.
• Sepekan Kopi: Exhibitions and workshops highlighting Temanggung’s signature coffee industry, complete with barista competitions and product demos.
• Sepekan Expo: A curated marketplace for local MSMEs across five themed zones—Travel, Home Living, Fashion, Craft, and Publishing.
• Sepekan Rasa: An authentic culinary journey through traditional and modern dishes crafted by local food entrepreneurs.

The five-day festival will take place from July 9th to July 13th, 2025, at Kledung Park, a scenic location between Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro.

With a mission to preserve cultural heritage and empower the creative economy, Temanggung Sepekan 2025 will be a vibrant convergence of arts, tradition, innovation, and tourism.
